Per apple user interface guidelines, the application will start on whichever view it was closed on.
fyi, to fix this, just double tap the screen again, and it will resize correctly.

Open class, double tap, rotate. I think this is a UIWebKit bug but I will look into it.
How are you getting into landscape mode? Do you see this with all classes? What device are you running on?
I cant reproduce the issue with a quick check.
